Default Terry Comp. Stabilizer unit

I am new to this forum and hope this is posted in the proper place. I have an '07 Ultra Classic and would like some feedback on the Terry component stabilizer unit. This is my first HD since '85 and was wondering if the installation of the unit is worth the cost. Any feed back would be appreciated.

Thanks

Don't mean to sound stupid, but I've never heard of it, what is it? And what is supposed to do?

Does this have anything to do with high speed cornering/ a third engine stabilizer under the trans? If it does let me know I'll give ya the low down

Terry Components purchased the rights to this stabilizer. The difference is that the box around the transmission has cut out for air circulation. Still hangs too low and will scrape in the right sweepers or tight turns. Several posts to read about all stabilizers.

I have the Ride-Str8 and have had no problems with scraping. These are not the cure-all for the unsteadiness during the long sweepers under speed and compression of the suspension. It does however help.

After 2001 actually 2002 all rubber mounted motors(flhtc etc) have several changes in the swing arm assembly Until the 2002 models and up there were silicon filled cleveblocks pressed in each end so the shaft that holds the swing arm to the main frame rides in a flexable mount. In 2002 HD went to a solid style bushing instead of the cleveblock design Now the rear end becomes more rigid less flex on cornering HD also updated the rubber mounts that hold the pivot shaft assembly to the frame. So this 2007 HD does not need no stinking Terry stabilizer!! I wonder if Harley new they had a problem with the early flex mounting system and now will recall all pre 2002 bikes and upgrade the bikes for free? The same day they admit it was dumb for designing all 2004s and up sportsters with out access to the tranysunless one splits the cases !!! GOOD GOD YA ALL
