I thought the same thing about mine when I got the bike. I got the seat from usatwins it list's out around $260 I paid about $145 I think it's great. COASTER has one on his Springer Classic too and he feel's the same way

I emailed Saddlemen with a question about a seat for my sportster, and after a month of no reply, I bought a C&C. it should be here next friday.
