Bluetooth range is about 10 meters, IN ABSENCE OF DISTURB.
Pretty limited to talk to other bikes, unless you are running side by side.

He's such a good kid, he didn't even contradict me, he just showed me the website and let me read up.

I don't know what is good, but I do know the two different Chatterbox sets we tried were CRAP.

I've been as far away as 500 ft(about 150 meters) and still chatting to another bike.
Normal bluetooth devices such as cell phones/PDA'sadvertise 30 ft (about 98 meters) but my Blackberry cell phone and Motorola blue tooth ear piece is only good for about 5 or 6 meters.

I got the Blueant's yesterday and installed them on the helmets last night, install was easy, they are quite small, makes them almost unnoticable on the outside of our flat black helmets.
The initial pairing instructions were a bit confusing but once I walked through them step by step it worked as directed.
In the house the range was great.
Hopefully the weather will hold out and I can give a ride report on them soon.
BTW the EBAY seller I bought them shipped them on Friday, and they got here Monday, not bad for free shipping. Total cost each was $109.95.

Once paired you don't have to pair them again. To turn them on just hit the big button once...... to use the intercom system (which is not bluetooth BTW) press the big button again and the little blue light will flash rapidly. To turn them off, press and hold the big button down until the light turns red.
Like I mentioned above, none of them are perfect and sometimes we get a slight cracking noise from the earspeakerwhen the speed gets up. Worry not, you will get used to it when it happens. No biggy.
I let mine stay on for a few hours after my ride and I don't rechargethem until right before the ride. Not sure if this helps any but it doesn't hurt.
