Default Is this a high flow air cleaner (stage 1)??? - UPDATED PICS

I bought this bike used and was told it had a stage 1 upgrade. It has V&H Shortshot pipes and a K&N air filter. But I'm not sure if this air cleaner housing is a stage 1 type? Is this high flow?

Someone said it is a high flow air cleaner if there are holes on the backside of the housing. I just looked today for the first time and there are definitely holes. The outside looks stock. Is this a stock air cleaner housing with holed drilled in it or is this an aftermarket housing?

Thanks. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Could be, almost looks like someone just drilled holes in a stock plate.
Nice scoot, Like the seat

About the only difference between hi-flow and stock is the size of the intake hole.

So are we saying that the stock air cleaner housing comes with those holes already drilled into it? So this looks 100% stock to you guys, right?

The stock back plate only had one breather hole at the bottom of the plate.

Okay cool, thanks. So the holes were drilled out... Do you think it would make a huge difference to get an aftermarket high flow air cleaner kit installed or should I not even bother? If I wouldn't even notice a difference, I see no reason to spedn $200+ to get one installed. If I would notice a huge difference, of course it would be worth it. Thanks!

If those holes are drilled on the inside of the filter perimeter you will definetly get more air, bugs, dirt and everything else sucked in. Hope this is not the case...

That looks like the case. Someone has drilled holes in it on the inside of the breather space so its not getting filtered air
at all. I could be wrong but take a pic of the unit while holding the filter where it goes or just have a look yourself... If the filter is not between the holes and the intake you need to get another housing...

Definitely not stock and did not mean to imply that. Ditto on the relationship of the holes to the filter. All the hi-flow filter do is have more openings than stock, but the openings force the air through the filter.
