One you move up a tall filter like my K&N filter. You have a 1" filter where my K&N is 2 1/4" of air flow with a velocity stack made in.

That a stock filter too right? Do you know if the bike has been rejetted? You can take off the carb bottom and look at the jet sizes with a flashlight from underneath real quick to tell. If it hasnt been rejetted. A highflow air cleaner and tuning will net you prolly 8 rear wheel horse power which you will definitly notice.
That's a K&N filter. I haven't confirmed anything, but I was told that the bike was upgraded to Stage 1. It has V&H Short Shot pipes and a modified air cleaner, so I can only assume it was rejetted. It doesn't run bad with excess popping or whatever?

If thats the case, then you'll only see maybe a 2hp gain over your current setup. You probably would not have to rejet though, if you did change out your air cleaner to another setup though.

I'm thinking it's not even worth it. I would like to have the bike dyno'ed, though. Mainly just to know that everything is tweaked exactly how it should be for the best performance possible. I may find out that it's already tweaked just right, but at least I'll know for sure then.

I do not about how you ride but it made a big different in the power in my bikes. I go to the dealer on the the demo riding days. The stock bikes just do not have the power that air filter and a change of air flow in the pipes. I put 19k on the 07 lowerider last year. and 5k on the road glide so far. I was out riding today. The temp was around 15 this morning. It was a beatiful ride. Going back out after lunch. Ride to live and live to ride
