As of this point in time, NOTHING has changed here in Michigan concerning the Helmet laws...I doubt it will either...not as long as the current Governor is in place

As long as Granholm is in office, you will NEVER be helmetless.
To all Canadians....................PLEASE TAKE THIS B*TCH BACK TO CANADA. She's not wanted here.

Michigan is pretty much a Liberal state......
keep your helmet close to the bike.
(that is not to say that all states with Liberal Party candidates have helmet laws)

The last we heard, the House passed a bill that would allow helmetless riding in Michigan, but it was promptly vetoed by Granholm.

She threatened to veto it and it died as stated before someone take this dumb *** back. She did bring up that if we wanted to pay a fee for the right to ride without a helmet she might entertain that idea. We now have the highest unemployment rate of any state and the 4th higest forclosure rate. We are losing about 30,000 people a year. Other states like Indiana, are advertising on our radio stations telling us what a great place they are to live. She wasn't kidding when she said "Just watch what we do in the next four years" when she was running for re-election.

Actually MI is a Conservative state except for Detriot and Grand Rapids. Most of the polictions only campain in those two areas because if they can get there vote they can almost win the entire state. That's where most of our liberal welfare program money is going. Romney is leading in the presidential race in MI last I heard.

Sarge,

I read an article a couple of weeks ago that named Michigan the worst state for singles. I'm beginning to see why.
