RE: The Scrambler
Jesse Rooke is the biggest boner in the motorcycle industry. Stupid flyboy surfer shovin 120" engines in a bicycle frame and trailering it around thinkin heis Peter Fonda or something. I saw enough of him and his attitiude at shows in Cinci and on Biker Build off. Stick to the nancy's with the surf wax.

Now there you go JB. My first bike was a 305 scrambler also, circa 1968. Wore it out riding the seacoast roads in Mass., NH and Maine. Bought it used for around $400.00. Those were the days my friend!

RE: The Scrambler
We had one at the bike shop I worked at we used as a shop bike. I couldn't find a pic of that one so I dug this one up off the net. And yes those washers never did get closed very often. Back then my style'n ride was one of these. Alway liked the Dream motors over the Hawk motors, the Hawks may have had dual carb's but they also had the 180 deg. crank wear as the Dream motors had a 360 deg crank and sounded a lot more like the Britt. bikes.
