Windex works best for me... gotta love the denim paint

 

Between Pig Snot on your bike and Cat Crap on your goggles, seems to me riding is a pretty messy activity

 

Yep I love the low maintenance of the denim paint, wash and dry only. [8D]
The only thing I wax is the small amount of chrome on my bike. For that I use S100 wax which is the easiest on and off wax I've ever seen. I like that it also does not leave that white crap on parts and it shines like crazy.
The black parts of the bike get a shot of pig spit.

I do have some pig snot metal polish and it works pretty good, although not as good as Mothers. Maybe I'll give that Pig Snot a try after I run out of the S100 wax which I've had the same container for about 3 years now.

 

real wax about once a year , lemon pledge the reast of the time, paint chrome and plastic....

Ok, I've been using Meguiar's NXT. Easy on & off but doesn'l last as long. I'll try the snotty one & maybe pick up some S100 to compare.

 

I like the shine you get from pig snot.I use wizards mist-n-shine now.I like it a little better. Wizardsproducts.com. I use the mist-n-shine on everything plastic,chrome,paint.The only thing I don't use it on is the windsheild.

 

I like the pig snot. I use nxt as a base, several coats, then use the pig snot. It's got teflon in it and no cleaners. Which means you can layer it. Nice shine.

 

After a heavy wash and clean, I use Mequiars on the paint and Turtle wax chrome polish on the chrome and Mothers Aluminum on the aluminum. After that, we love Wizards mist. Its one of the qwikest qwiky shines I've come across.

What do you use to soften bug guts from the windshield and paint? My oldest boy worked at a carwash. He gave me this powdered soap they mix up for a presoak solution. I mix that and put it in a spray bottle. Wet the bug doo, spray it on, wait 5, and those dirty bas***ds come right off. Only problem, I have no idea what this is called. But I have 4 coffee cans full, and it will last me 4 lifetimes, or longer.

If you use a spray and shine product, just be careful around the tars and grips. Most of those products have a silicone base, and slickery tars suk in a curve/corner, and then that's one heck of a time to find out you can't get a BIG handful of grip. Just this o' farts .02 worth. D.O.G. GUMBY

 

I've had excellent results with Eagle One Nanowax and plan to continue using it on both my bikes. I've seen all the steps you need to do with Zaino and though probably a good product I don't want a multi step product. HI might try Blitz wax out too.
