Myself I'm happy to have the guy here.
He can contribute a lot to this forum and seems to be active here. I would take advantage of this offer but unfortunatly I am one month into a new subscription. His mag is one of the best out there and seems to have better tech and how to articles in there than the others. It is the only one I subscribe to. How much you wanna bet "hot bikes" has at least as many ads if not more in it? There isn't a decent mag in the world that can survive without selling ad space. You make it sound like AI is the only one and they are doing something wrong. They all do it. he seems like a nice enough guy. How about giving him a little break.
You have some valid points but looking through the issue at hand I find some 145 of the 266 pages in the mag are advertisements, some full page advertisemants. I realize that the advertisments pay for the mag but excess ads isn't something I wish to buy.

Yes, he is active but looking through the posts made as I did, I see all promotions for his mag and service opportunities ie. editors positions and pay for rides submitted if they are posted in the mag plus many others which is why I made the post a few back.... "free advertising"

It's been said in other posts also that there are paid sponsors here on the forum and others that advertise for free here. I just don't think it's being very fair to the paying sponsors, that's all, nothing more.

If I were a paid sponsor on the forum, I would give serious thought to this type of post for profit without being a sponsor.

I see that we have a few complainers, no surprise; You are being offereda deal if you want it, nothing more. Since most people that take the offer are probably already reading AI anyways, there wasno real advantage for Buzz to do this. It's a little more money left in our pockets, instead of Buzz's....not quite sure how a few of you would find a way to complain about that, but you did.

We get a subscription to AI at the shop and then put the copies in theService DepartmentLounge, so I read it at work. But this is a good deal and for $33 and our Canadian dollar at par, at less than $3 per mag I'll gladly have it sent to the house; Sign me up.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and have a Happy New Year

I have a had a subscription to your mag for a while. Not blowing smoke up your skirt here, but it is the best mag on the rack in my opinion.

Seems as if you did win, numerous guys posted that they bought a subscription. Most of the naysayers were not going to be readers anyway. JMO
