I picked up a copy to check it out and it's mostly advertising in the mag, a few articles thrown in to keep it interesting. I'm not paying to buy an advertising mag when the advertisers in the mag pay too.

I'll stick with hot bikes myself.

Nothing like using the forums for free advertising.

IronWorks! Much better articles and bikes that are more to my liking. And...I get it before it hits the newstand. When I subscribed to AI, Many times I saw it at Barnes and Noble before I got it! When I would call I would get a response like there is a delay this month.

10% off does not sound like such a big deal to me anymore. Especially on a magazine subscription. Damn, I'm getting jaundiced in my old age. But it is a good mag.
Well, 10% off the cover isn't much of a deal, but we are offering ANOTHERR 10% off the already discounted prices we offer. Depending on the deal you choose, this could add up to 77% off the newsstand price - if that is enough of an incentive for you to pull the trigger. If not, don't know what to say.

Happy Harleydays!

Buzz, you publish my favorite cycle mag.
I have been buying your mag for nearly 10 years. I have not subscribed 'cause I don't know if your mag comes through the mail packed in a plastic bag.
I can't stand getting a mag in the mail with a mangled cover. I also don't like getting a mag in the mail after it is on the shelf on the local news stand.
Does your mag come in a plastic bag?

Buzz

With all the advertising you do on this forum, I don't see a contributor banner or even a sponsor's ad for your mag in the sponsors section.

How about "pay it forward" and kick a bit of that subscription money back to the forum. It takes $ to run a forum and you sure get your monies worth here.

Just figured I'd mention it here being you advertise your mag here so much in the threads for free while other sponsors pay for the privilege.

Myself I'm happy to have the guy here.
He can contribute a lot to this forum and seems to be active here. I would take advantage of this offer but unfortunatly I am one month into a new subscription. His mag is one of the best out there and seems to have better tech and how to articles in there than the others. It is the only one I subscribe to. How much you wanna bet "hot bikes" has at least as many ads if not more in it? There isn't a decent mag in the world that can survive without selling ad space. You make it sound like AI is the only one and they are doing something wrong. They all do it. he seems like a nice enough guy. How about giving him a little break.
