Got my driver's license in 1964 when I was 14 years old.
In 65 I got my first HD - a 64 XLCH Sporty.
Before that, I was fooling around with this.

I don't think I rode a bike B4 I had my drivers license - I lived in Florida & at that time you could ride a MC with a learners permit at age 14. There was no MC license. My first bike was a Gilera. It was a 124 CI single cylinder made in Italy and marketed in the US by Sears. I think I paid $250 for it used. It was really a very nice bike. Recently I Googled Gilera & found forums and collectors sites. I wish I still had it. My next bike was a Kawi 500. A triple cylinder 2 cycle bike. That was a bike that inspired one to hold on whilst twisting the throttle. One early morning on the way to school I got on the throttle & I believe the bike became airborne. At the time I weighed about 90 pounds. Then a Honda 650 or 750 (can't remember). Now I am on my second Harley (Road King Classic).
