The only thing I would say is, we all love our bikes and they cost a fortune....so use them, ride them.

They do clean up nice you know; they're like all those girls you wish you'd dated....

Once you get caught in a rainstorm you then think back to all those days you didn't ride out and could've.

A bit of water wont hurt it...honest.

 

If you buy an '07 dont forget to price in for them to fit the IDS!!!!!!!

Leave the '07 unless you're looking to save a lot of money...everyone knows they had some issues, maybe that will hit the resale price later.

Right Friggin Now...is the best time to buy a Harley. If you've made up yer mind to own a harley...then everyday is wasted that yer not ridin it... Oh and seems like I'm bein bombarded with emails from local dealers for up to 1k off... seems the dealers are a little slow right now, making for a possible deal.

 

If your friend is worried about saving a couple of bucks, tell him to buy a Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, ..., etc.

 

I just bought my '08 Street Glide this past Thursday morning. I got $500 off MSRP and no freight or setup fees. They are also throwing in the 1000 mile service at no charge... and that's just what they are offering everyone. Didn't even have to negotiate any of it.

... yeah, getting a late model ('07) in fall or winter if they're left is a good way to go for a deal... of course, make sure there's not BIG differences with next year's model that might make it worth the extra $$$,... like for me, I felt is was worth the little extra for the cc bump-up...

 

I just got my 2008105 anniversery dyna in November and they were taking $2000 off the msrp or would make my first 3 payments I took the 2grand. I went to Santa Cruz Harley those guys are the best very low key as compared to the other dealerships Ive been to.

 

Seems like end of July- August...is a good time...new year models start rollin out and all the HD dealers I have been to do not get many new year models until last years stuff clears off the show room floor

 

Who can wait. Get it as soon as you can afford it.
