Then came Bronson was one of my favorite shows growing up, I must have seen reruns in syndication as the original series was 1year only and 1969. I beleive I watched several years later.

youtube has a couple episodes you can watch online. The bike was a Harley Davidson Sportster 883, at least the main one was.

Boy does that bring back memories. On the commercial he is headed south down California Highway 1 crossing Bixby Bridge. The bridge is very famous and has been seen and used in a lot of movies and commercials over the years. I too often plow through the salt water on the beach with my HD.

Here's the rest of the links on U-Tube to watch the whole show. There are so many easy to spot gaffes in the Bronson series. Here's a couple more right off the bat:

Check at about 3:30 into the first part, and you can hear the electric starter as he "kicks over" his bike.

At 40 seconds into the commercial, you can hear the exhaust, and it's a two stroke (beach scene).

Kind of lost the magic it had when I watched it as a teenager. It's like sticking an icepick in my ear now.

Another childhood memory trashed. Thanks for sharing. What are you going to post next? reruns of Combat and Rat Patrol. I don't think I could bear seeing any more great memories in front of the TV ruined.

Yeah, the sportsters werebuilt to compete with the British bikes in flat track racing. Shifter was on the right, as the riders were dragging their feet on the left as they went counterclockwise around the track. The bikes were all standardized in the mid '70's. My 75 t150 shifts on the right, the 76t160 shifts on the left.

Here's the links to anotherBronson. This one has some riding in it!
