Default FXRG-2 BOOTS

Has anyone purchased a pair of the FXRG-2 boots. Would like to get feedback on them such as: 1) How are they for comfort when wearing them off the bike?
2) How is the waterproofing?
3) Is the thinsulate too warm in the summer months?

I'm not specifically looking for a pair of HD boots, but thesewere given a good review in the Jan 08 American Motorcyclist magazine and I just happen to be looking for a good pair of waterproof boots...

I bought a pair from a dealer that had them for about 100.
1. They are pretty comfortabel due tot eh softer soles and uppers. They are not "sneakers" so I would not want to go hiking in them
2. They are waterproof but you'll need raingear that closes around the boot to keep the wwater from coming in from the the top.
3. With the Thinsulate they are fine for on the bike again would not want to hike in them.

I would pick them up again for the discount price.

Thanks for the info bro.
I would love to find a pair to 100 bucks, everywhere I look though it seems to be double that.

FXRG boots are the best riding boots that I have owned and I wear them in all 4 seasons. They are comfortable both on and off the bike. I have found that if you are wearing chaps or rain gear, your feet will stay warm and dry. Buy them with confidence, you can't go wrong.

I got mine from this dealer. http://www.saukprairiehd.com/default.asp They have a pretty good selection of item in their "outlet" wing of the store. Give them a call.
