Its dark when I ride to work in the morning and I need some kind of eye protection. Are goggles not cool, should a guy stick with just clear safety glasses.

 

Friends dont let friends ride their Harley with Snoopy the Red Barron Googles. Just say NO!!

I use these safety glasses for riding. Clear for day and dark for day. Really cool mirrored glasses cheap too. Mess them up throw them away.

Goggles only look cool if you weara silk scarf....J/K...wear them if you want.

You need to wear what you feel comfortable in no matter what any particular person says about being "cool". If you like goggles then wear them and to hell with everyone else. Goggles are gonna keep the wind out of your eyes much better than any pair of glasses. THis can be a lifesaver if you wear contact lenses.

I agree with Trevor, what is comfortable. My only drawback to goggles it the raccoon tan lines you may get in the summer..LOL

 

I keep a pair of goggles with me in case of rain. I have yet to find a pair of sunglasses that will keep the water out of my eyes.

 

Goggles arn't cool? Oh damn....I better add that to the cool/not cool list so I don't get confused.

What's wrong with goggles? They are fine.

 

Goggles are fantastic for comfort. I like them, but I wear a helmet,kevlar chaps,and fingerless gloves too. Wear safety glasses a lot around town, but on the road, there's nothing better than a good set of goggles. I'm buying myself a set of Halcyon's for Christmas. They also provide excellent peripheral vision.

When I leave for work in the morning it's dark. I wear a pair of clear goggles. I spray on some kind of anti fog stuff that I apply about once a week that I got at a metric store and it works pretty good. I had no idea it wasn't cool to wear goggles though. Shows you what I know. I think I'm gonna keep wearing them though cause they work real well, and just live with the not cool thing.
