Riding with Goggles, your thoughts.......

I wear goggles all the time. I have tried to wear Wiley-X or sunglasses but they have a tendency to let the wind dry out the eyeballs.

For my daily commute I use clear safety glasses, but for long trips I carry my Wiley-X glasses with interchangable lenses. They work wonders.

Goggles can be retro cool. I wear glasses that are more like sunglasses, but have a removable foam liner that make them act like goggles. They also have both dark and clear lenses. They work for me - very few tears, no fogging.

I get a kick out of my goggles, they're crazy looking. As long as I'm entertained, it doesn't matter who think's they're cool. Oh, and goggles are better than any other glasses I've worn for keeping the wind out, so they got that going for them too.

I have a couple of Eye Ride goggles that I wear everyday. Dark for the morning, clear for night. Love them. I only fog up at stop lights, but, that clears up quick if you just pull them off your eye for a few seconds.

I wear Guard Dog goggles all the time when I ride. Have the clear, amber and dark lenses that quickly change. Fairly cheap. They fit over my glasses and being able to see clearly is more important that "cool".

I've got the Wiley-X XL-1's with the photochromatic lenses. The work great for me and they have a small removable foam piece around the frame.
