Got pulled over for vert side mounted license plate!

Well, this thread really messes up my feeble mind... I am a retired LEO (2 years) and I will confess right here - I have a crotchrocket and love riding at 100+ mph speeds, I break the speed limits on my Harley when I'm going downhill and it can, I love donuts and coffee but I have been running for 16 years and can easily run 8 miles with no problem, I don't understand why active LEOs would get into forum debates over technical issues and mudslinging, I can read vertical plate numbers and have ordered a vertical plate mount for my R1, and most importantly, I can and do laugh at all of the cop/donut comments because ya know what? They are just damned funny. Lighten up!

Those advocating the street racing, think about this. If there is a cop there to bust you, it wasn't as deserted, thus as safe, as you thought. Now was it? Point is, you do NOT know what is, or could be there, to put both you and them in danger. If even a rabbit pops out in front of you on a bike at those speeds, and you're gonna wish you were at home in bed.
