Slow here, too. Drives me crazy but I've been told that's a pretty short trip.

California now. It use to be in New York.

Maybe it is a geographic issue and routing through the ISPs backbone. I have encountered issues where only certain people on certain locations and backbones were affected in my business. I am NC. Where is the hosting location? If you don't mind...thanks
Terry, here is a tracert from NC, I see a 256 out there in LA that maybe a bottle neck, just FYI
Thanks

I'm fewer than 400 miles from it with a main backbone connection right at it. It's not in any part of the backbone on my end, although I agree it could happen rarely for an isolated few.

Here's why. Again, even when the site is very slow, I still can get a 27ms round trip ping. My connection along the backbone is lightning but the site is slow to respond to database queries.

Remember, it's WWW.(world wide web)hdforums.com. It will be available at good speeds from all over the world.

Mastercard and Visa have their primary servers in The Netherlands. Does that slow down your local merchant when you use your card? Of course not.

Again, please just be patient? It'll get fixed and you just have more time to sip your beer.

I am definetely not complaining, only making observations and contributing in any way I can. I enjoy my time on this site!
FYI My pings sit at 100ms. And you are probably correct the response from the data is probably contributing to the time to load. How many hops are you at 400miles?

Do a tracert, just out of curiosity. 100ms for my ping is not great but not enough to be a big issue. I hit google at 35ms and my site zuma.net at 50ms.
