As a former dirt bike rider, I can't imagine how hard that suspension felt. OUCH!!!! Kewl none the less...

Haha...that was cool...

Question...does anyone else think it would be cool if HD got back into offroad racing?..it'd be nice to have a working mans salary dirtbike on the market that is american!!

Not sure anyone remembers the 350 single cylinder Harley motor cross built back in the early 70s? If anyone has a photo that would be cool. I have only ever seen one and that was in Bend Oregon. I think the year was 1970 or 71. I remember that one large cylinder sticking straight forward.

very cool..just goes to show it's not only the bike but the rider....

my old home town of Kewanee Ill. is home to Reiman HD dealership...Roger Reiman was a hall of fame HD pro rider....storys were told around town how he would take a stock sportster out on the dirt trails and dust every other rider out there no matter what dirt bike they had

Now that's Old School, is anyone shocked that a Sporty can handle the dirt? It was originally designed for racing purposes and still holds it's own on the long oval tracks. In the old days they did it all, scrambles, hillclimbs and oval. Love to see somebody take it back to it's roots!
