Things are tough all over.......housing construction, auto sales, etc. At least Harley didn't keep pumping out bikes and then put people out of work permanently. The other thing is that the "fad" of buying a motorcycle has died off. There was a huge surge in sales over the last 8 or 9 years, with the on-slot of shows like OCC, Biker Build Off, etc. The novelty of those shows is gone and now bike sales will go back to what they were in the 90's. We've noticed in the shop that sales of all 3 brands that we carry (Harley, Yamaha & Honda) have been slowing down over the last year or so and all the other dealers feel the same way. It's not just Harley, it's the whole industry
