As a general rule ... after the wind gets around the front end, the windshield, and my fat butt then the T-Bag is of little consequence.

But seriously ... I've been using a T-Bag or similar bag for five or more years, and I used a regular ol' backpack before that. You can usually pack 3 or 4 pair of jeans, a half dozen long sleeve shirts, and a week's worth of socks/underwear along with a decen shave kit in most bags of this type. That will get you by for a 4-7 days -- depending on how bad you stink -- and then you just stop at a local laundromat. Strap on a small tent, sleeping bag, infaltable mattress, and a chair for sitting around the camp fire at night and you're ready to go cross-country. Yeeeee-Haaawwwwwww!

Never had a problem with mine. Had it on the FXST for a 300 mile trip and then again on a 1000+ mile trip. Pack it the right way and there should be no problems.

Here is my T-bag. I like the clean look. It is good for around town. Will get the larger one for touring. No straps just goes arounddetachable sissy bar pad and rests on seat.

I have a Tourmaster (large) with a roll-bag which straps on top. The sides are somewhat stiff so it holds its shape well. Mount it on the passenger seat, strapped to the sissybar, a few bungees to stabilize. Big enough for a week's worth of stuff. Bungee a backpacking tent and sleeping bag on the luggage rack, no problems at all.
Went down to the dragon with this set-up, no handling issues whatsoever. Also, it came with a nice rain cover which covers both bags. Highly recommended.
