Non-Heated Glove Recommendations

Non-Heated Glove Recommendations
I have FXRG gear that lets me ride in cold weather and stay nice and toasty, but as for non-heated gloves I need some recommendations. I already have the HD Gore-Tex gloves and my fingers freeze after 30 minutes in 40 degree temps or less. What non-heated gloves do you recommend, and what is the lowest temperature you have ridden in and not have your fingers freeze after 30 minutes of ridding?

I tried for years to resist heated gloves and clothing. I recently bought Gerbing's gear (gloves, socks, pants and jacket liner) and now I can ride warm and safe in almost any weather. Take the plunge and you won't look back.

Forget about buying motorcycle gloves (if you don't want heated gear) and go and buy ski gloves instead. The fingers are pre-formed to fit ski poles, and they are usually waterproof. The palms often have a non-slip surface as well. The ones I have have 40 grams of Thinsulate, and I routinely use them with temps in the 40's, and my hands are often too warm, riding behind a fairing.
Prices range all over the place, with some of the foreign made ones $20 and below in discount stores.

Here's the gloves I just purchased:

They're great. I've ridden in the 20's & 30's. You'll still get cold, but these have performed best out of the 3 sets I've tried. They're a little bulky, but you get used to it.
My opinion is that unless your hands are protected from direct wind blast, no matter what non-heated gloves you have, the cold temps plus windchill affects will eventually come through and give you discomfort.
If you're hands are not protected by a windshield/fairing, you should invest in wind deflectors for your grips, because non-heated gloves alone will not do the trick over an extended period of time of exposure to high winds and cold.
Good luck!

Goretex is waterproof not windproof and won't do much to insulate from the cold. A few years back when I was more apt to ride in temps in the 30's or 40's I used thinsulate liners under my regular leather gloves.I don't ride anymore when it's below about 50. If you search for products for snowmobiling I bet they will be more than adequate for riding a motorcycle.
