Keeping Garage Warm in Winter?

RE: Keeping Garage Warm in Winter?
Garages are insulated and drywalled. Have 1 side of the garage for both bikes, a small table and 2 chairs on each side, and a portable/radiant heater. Actually works pretty good.

Here is how we are doing ours...
That is approximately 3,500 feet of pex tubing you see with a total of approx. 7,000 in a 60 x 104 slab.

I used to use a kerosene heater and had no troubles other than it being in the middle of the floor. A couple of years ago, I upgraded to a wall mounted, ventless propane radiant heater with a blower. I really like it.

I use a hanging Reznor heater fired with propane. It will heat my 1500sq ft shop to 65 or 70 degrees F in no time. I can work in a tee shirt all winter long with no problems.

I have a gas heater forced air type mounted to the wall.....a few years back I used to run a extension cord out to the street light pole, and plug in to the outlet in the base of the pole, and then hook it to my electric baseboard set up. That was just the way it was done years ago....anyone form NYC area will know exactly what I am talking about.

I use a woodstove. Normally I keep the bike in an unheated garage until around January 1. Then I move it into my shop and don't let the fire go out until I'm done playing with the bike, maybe March by that time.
This year I have a building that I rent out with a 14 x 26 heated space unrented , my bike and at least one buddy's bike will be there for the winter.
