From the article ":resist the temptation to buy a bunch of chrome widgets until you've had a chance to at least put 500 miles on the bike. I think his exact words were, "Ride the **** out of it!"
So I should wait forone wekeend before accessorizing? No offense to the author butwhy dopeople need a book to tell them how to be "authentic"The only thing I found on him is that he produces American Thunder.

No one agress with everything that they read but I will say...the more you know the more you grow.
Haven't read anything like this but would consider it.
Thanks for the info.

A 'bikers manual' - to me - is tantamount to one needing a book titled, "How to Breath". While the intent of the author may be genuine, those who might find a 'need' for such a read would - in my opinion - be better served spending their monies elsewhere. What's next; "1%'rs for Dummies"???

I've read it, thought it had some good info and wasentertaining. After reading some of the previous posts it makes me wonder if I'm not taking this being a biker sh*t seriously enough.

not read the book, don't own it, then again; I was riding in the days he talks about. Some of you should read it, it might keep you out of trouble!
