dragon fly, it hit me in the lip so hard it spun my head.

 

June Bug hit the left side of my eye protection. Had to pull over and clean up. A friend had a humming bird hit him in the cheek on the way to work one morning. His face was red and swollen all day.

 

Running about 60,I had a bumble bee knock one of the lens out of my sunglasses. It looked like a knuckle ball coming at me, snapped my head back good.

I hit a swarm of paloalto bugs I think there called one day coming home from work it was like getting shot in the chest lucky for leathers. Except for the one that hit me in the chin did a back flip and stung me under the chin there big black and hard and sting like a scorpion.

 

Seems like the biggest bugs always hit my bare skin,,,, had some kind of bug this year on the freeway that nearly took my head off at about 80,,, smacked me real hard, just under the glasses, hurt like hell,, it was pretty darn big. As far as swarms,,, anyone ever hit a swarm of mayflies,,, those cover you from head to toe and the entire front end and other parts of the bike,,, hell to get off and you have to do it ASAP.

 

Riding with a full face helmet about 15 years ago and suddenly I felt like I had been hit in the head with a baseball bat. I pulled over and stopped as soon as I could and a common horse fly had "perfectly" hit one of the two vent holes in the front of my helmet and I was damn near knocked out.
