Am considering the purchase of a used Harley but want to know which model or models are the smoothest riding. My uses will be around town and light touring. Any opinons are welcome.

 

Any of the Touring models.

 

I've ridden just about every model. In my opinion the Road King is the smoothest riding HD model.

 

Partial to the Ultra but any touring model should be where I'd start...

 

Haven't ridden them all....but the touring bikes do seem to be the smoothest riding to me, in my very limited experience.

If you're talking about the smoovest.....personal preference, my friend.

 

Just pick any one of the touring models.

 

I just bought an 08 road king and I am very pleased with it...but any of the touring bikes would be a good choice

 

The touring models are the smoothest riding Harleys but for around town and light one up touring you might want to consider a Dyna.

Have rode several bikes in my time, majority Harley, and my RoadKing is my favorite. I really looked hard at the Ultra this past summer, as my wife is riding and thought I would let her have the Roadking. But when it came down to it, I am not ready to give up the King, yet. Don't get me wrong, the Ultra's are wonderful, all the bells and whistles, but I just like my King, plus the wife just isn't quite ready for the King. Now next year might be a different story, we will see.
