Default Saddle Bag Organizers Coming Loose

I noticed that my saddle bag organizers are starting to come loose. They're held on with double sided tape. I wonder if the adhesive on the black industrial strength velcro would hold any better?

See if you can find somewhere that sells the 3M Industrial mounting tape that they use for EZ Pass modules. I think it is 3M Dual Lock Velcro Tape, it usually comes in smaller pieces. That stuff sticks like no one's business and is pretty hard to pull apart. It's not a fabric like normal Velcro, more of a flexible tape with small plastic nubs on it that lock into another piece of the same material.

Mine and the wife's did the same thingthe first day the bikes were out in the hot sun. Take them out,and clean off all the old glue. Use some fine sand paper to rough up the inside of the lid and the back of the organizer. Put them back together with contact cement and you shouldn't have any more problems.

I use industrial strength Velcro and it holds like a vise. I used it to mount my garage door remote on the inner fairing ledge below the windshield and I can hardly remove it for washing. Great stuff.

I went with the 2" industrial strength velcro. The adhesive seems to work well with the organizer and saddle bag lid. That crap ain't cheap though. I'll see how long it lasts.

Regular Velcro, double sided tape, carpet tape, hot glue, contact cement all failed, I was ready to say I learned a lesson until I bought the industrial strength Velcro at Home Depot. They have not fallen off or got loose since I installed the industrial strength Velcro in May. I did apply the industrial strength Velcro on about 2/3 of the organizer. Once they stay put they work great for teh small items that can get missplaced.
