Buy a house with a garage.....I go "house shopping" all the time with my GF (like I need another I already have two of my own and half of another), and I told her do not even think about taking me to a place that dont have a attached, climat controlled garage. I love to work on my bikes....and I love to keep them looking better than new.....and that cant be done if you have to park it outside every night....and then leave it outside all Winter.

Dam dude....where do you keep your tools?

I think if I was you, I would be looking into getting a spot in one of those self storage joints right quick!!!

What about a big bucket of silicate?

You know like those small packs you get in camera bags or electronics??

They absorb moisture content from the air around them, or run a dehumidifier constantly under the cover...just an idea...maybe I'm crazy!

From what I understand concrete sucks the moisture out of other objects. This can lead to quicker dry rot of your tires. Not sure how true that is, but for $10 I figured it was safer to get two rubber welcome mats that I park her on.
