vance & hines ovals versus rush
Appreciate all replies to my previous posts. I plan on changing to either v/h oval slip ons or rush 2" baffle slip ons. I plan to leave my A/C and no stage one on my 07 RKC. I don't have time to find anybody with this set up so I can't listen to them. I just want a better sound than stock (louder). Could i get a vote on the two? Which one would sound better? Louder? Thanks!

Nice thing about Rush is you can change out the baffles from 1.5" to 2.5" to get the db level you want. The 2" was too loud for my tastes so I changed out to 1.75" and they are just right.

RE: vance & hines ovals versus rush
In experimenting with mufflers this year I've had the V&H Ovals and the RUSH (both 2.5" and 2.25").I found the Rush 2.5" to be too loud and also felt that the bike lost some low end torque. The V&H Ovals sounded too flat during hard acceleration, plus I could never get used to the shape.
My preference between these 3 has been the Rush 2.25". Also less expensive than the V&H, plus have multiple designs and baffle sizes.

I have the Vance and Hines Ovals on my Ultra and they sound good but a few different people have told me that they sound tinny from a few bikes back in the pack. That never really concerned me much since I never hear that. I have had them on there for 2 and half years and they still look like new with 27,000 miles on them.

I have & like the V&H ovals. Don't know anything about the Rush, haven't seen them on a bike around here.
