Heated vest or heated jacket liner. Period.

Underarmour brand is good stuff..but expensive. Plenty of other options too.

Check out Cabellas - with the right undergarment you can throw a t-shirt on over it and still have a lot less bulk than a sweater and stay warm:

Expensive stuff not required. If it's below 70 I'm cold even in the office. My wife bought the (discounted everywhere) two piece ski coat. I put the lined inner on first, then my leather jacket, then if it's below 50 either the water resistant outer or my Harley waterproof/windproof jacket. I'm warm in any weather, only my finger tips get cold.

ORIGINAL: FLHDRIVER

Wear a long sleeve T-shirt, Gerbings or MOCO 9made by Gerbings) heated jacket liner. Even with a adjustable Temp Controller you will have to go to lowest setting or turn it off. No Ice or snow you can ride comfortably ALL winter, if you live where its cold.....and enjoy it.
DITO on the Gerbing. If you are serious about riding in all conditions get Gerbing....No need to layer up so much you can't move. Picked mine up directly from the Gerbing store for $89.
