I'll chime in on how warm this mother is. I ride 35 miles each way to work mostly on the PA turnpike keeping up with traffic at 75-80 mph. I have no problem riding when its in the low 30's with no heated equipment.

I have the now discontinued buffalo hide FXRG and it is an excellent jacket. The only drawback is that you cannot tell that it is a Harley jacket without looking closely at the zipper pulls. I love Harley-Davidson. [8D]

I have the nylon jacket, watch out for the platic zippers mine is into HD for it's second warranty replacement in 2 years. Love the jacket, hate the price.

Thanks for all the info. I was looking at getting one but was having a hard time with the price. I thought about getting it the next time the stealer had a sale. Then I found St. Paul H-D's E-bay store and was going to order one from there but may wait now to see what else is out there.

I have had mine for 4 years. The only problem I have is the cheesy bungee style loops on the nylonjacketthat hold the loops to the leather jacket inside sleeves. Now that I hear about the warranty, I will give that a shot...

BTW.... If you really want to ride in cold weather, onlya retard would want "metal zippers"... They tend to freeze in cold rains and make it awful hard to take off a jacket when you stop..... ask me how I know....lol

I have the nylon version too and really like it. I don't think that HD advertises that it's officially waterproof, but it's about as close as you can get. I've never had water get through. And with the liner, it's toasty warm. Without the liner and the front and back vents open, it's pretty comfortable as well. One of the other things that HD got right were the pockets; they're big and easy to get into. I only wish that it could take armor instead of having the light pads in the shoulders and elbows.
