Biker courtesy wave..

RE: Biker courtesy wave..
Oh, fer f*cks's sake! I've only had a bike for 6 weeks and I'm already sick of this ****. When did motorcycles become owned by such self-concious, uptight people? Other than "how I'm supposed to act with other bikers cuz they're not human - they're bikers" and fingerless glove gay issues, what else does anyone talk about in this place??
OK, I'm pissed as I've been down the pub all evening with some mates, but seriously, folks. We've got to do something about this...
Shawn
Pissed (in the British sense) and don't care how I look in fingerless chaps, how I'm supposed to wave, or anyone else's opinion unless I can learn from it...

I've found that if I leave my zipper open, that little guy is waving in the wind all the time and I don't have to worry about clutching and waving at the same time....
just an idea you guys might want to try....
Doesn't work for metric riders, usually just an invisible little appendage that nobody can see..

I've noticed the little left hand down to the side wave that bikers do to each other since I've gotten my bike. I know you guys are laughing at me but are there any certain "rules to the wave"? I started responding by doing the same thing to other bikers so I think it's pretty cool.. just don't want to make an *** of myself by doing it at someone stopped at a redlight or something while they're having to hold their clutch in with that hand. Anyway.. just curious..
