Oh, fer f*cks's sake! I've only had a bike for 6 weeks and I'm already sick of this ****. When did motorcycles become owned by such self-concious, uptight people? Other than "how I'm supposed to act with other bikers cuz they're not human - they're bikers" and fingerless glove gay issues, what else does anyone talk about in this place??

OK, I'm pissed as I've been down the pub all evening with some mates, but seriously, folks. We've got to do something about this...

Shawn
Pissed (in the British sense) and don't care how I look in fingerless chaps, how I'm supposed to wave, or anyone else's opinion unless I can learn from it...

You guys don't bother me.. I actually respect all of you and that's why I'm asking the "stupid" questions.. to make sure I don't somehow dis respect anyone by some crazy A@#, incorrect wave or whatever. No biggie though.. learning curve here.. I'm sure I'll be bitching about the stupid questions in a few weeks.

I've found that if I leave my zipper open, that little guy is waving in the wind all the time and I don't have to worry about clutching and waving at the same time....

just an idea you guys might want to try....

Doesn't work for metric riders, usually just an invisible little appendage that nobody can see..

I've noticed the little left hand down to the side wave that bikers do to each other since I've gotten my bike. I know you guys are laughing at me but are there any certain "rules to the wave"? I started responding by doing the same thing to other bikers so I think it's pretty cool.. just don't want to make an *** of myself by doing it at someone stopped at a redlight or something while they're having to hold their clutch in with that hand. Anyway.. just curious..
C
The first rule of the wave is you do not talk about the wave. The second rule of the wave is you do not talk about the wave. The third rule of the wave is you do not talk about the wave.

I can't believe I just posted in a waving thread.

no, but I made it for 49 years riding, so there[:'(] you think thisis bad, you should have been there back in 1958 when I started riding...the old guys picked on me with no mercy and I had to buy the beer on top of it, see you don't have to buy the beer,,the thing is you guys got to understand a little funning with you without getting Pissed, or running off about the old guys, after all, if it wasn't for us old guys, harley may havedarn well folded..Relax take a little kidding with a grain of salt, in a year or so you will be right in here doing the same. as for fingerless gloves ya got to love them, eaiser to pick your nose and to wipe your **** with them on..[sm=icon_rofl.gif][sm=icon_rofl.gif]
