whats the sense of going to a Hog rally if its free?
whats wrong with paying outragous prices, throwin around $20's like they are candy wrappers,
buyin a $80 VIP ticket with a special shoestring necklace!

thats what makes it so "Grand"!! lol

Ok Ok I'll consider going but only if I can have one of those VIP tickets with the specail shoestring necklace and,I can ride my BMW so I don't have to visit the local dealer for broken junk.

Have no plans on buying any kind of ticket. We had the most fun in the surrounding areas with the bike shows, rides and live music. All of it was FREE.

I will say that the HOG party with BB King and Jeff Beck was great. The wife and I enjoyed that one. BTW, it was totally FREE if you were a HOG member.

You have got that right!

The worst part was the ride home, it got really cold that night and we froze our asses off for 70 miles home.

Hey everyone, I have found a great hotel with rooms available within 25 minutes of Milwaukee right off of the interstate so it is convenient. They are a Hilton Garden Inn hotel that has only been open for 6 months so it isn't as well known and has rooms still because of this. The hotel has a restaurant, lounge, pool, etc. sleep number beds and plasma screen tv's. Visit their website at www.oconomowoc.stayhgi.com
I noticed you posted this same exact post all over this forum. If you are going to spam at least be open about it and not try to pass it off as a rider trying to help people find a place.

Even better, if you go to HGI's website and try to book the dates, there are NO rooms available...SPAMMER

went to the 100th and had a blast.

I did have a ticket , got lucky and also got a parade pass. Did not go to the big lake front concert, hung out on water street and listened to everyone bitch about Elton.

We stayed in a friend of a friends back yard in a tent.

This time the wife is coming along. So I have tickets, looked into Hotels they were available at the time but the price was a bit steep almost $200 a night.

Wanted more time to hang out this time so will be there the whole week ahead of time.

We are again camping but this time in the Airstream. Found what may be the perfect spot.

Wisconson State Fairgrounds, located in Milwakee , they have a RV campgroung. Full hookups total cost
for 10 nights $371. Confirmed reservation . Think it is only for RVs since it is a paved lot would not want to pitch a tent.

I also seem to recall that they opened up City parks to tent camping for the 100th,

Would love to attend a HDF getogether, Did a ride here in Michigan with HDF members and it was a lot of fun

Well I'm def heading up for the 105th. Riding from VA with my brother and 2 of his friends. We are staying about 40 mins outside Milwaukee. This is going to be a hell of a party, I hope. Either way, its gonna be a sweet ride.

I am going. Riding up from Tallahassee. Was born and raised in Milwaukee. I go up and visit my parents every August anyway, so why not. I have always flown or drove but this time I will ride my RG.
Cant wait!
