You do know that if you choose a different brand you won't be able to enjoy this forum anymore.....Don't you?

Do I regret buying a Harley? No, I regret buying a Honda VTX 1800, a Honda Rune, a Kawasaki Nomad before I realized that I should have got Harley's. So I did.

Nope. No regrets as far as buying my two Harley's are concerned. I do regret however selling some of my "metric" bikes. The ideal situation is to have both. I wouldn't replace my Harley with a BMW or Ducati. Instead I would buy a BMW or Ducati to add to the stable. Besides that, comparing your Harley to those two bikes is like comparing apples to oranges. They are so completely different that I wonder if what you really mean to say is, other riding styles may suit you better. ie...American Cruiser vs. Sport Bike vs. Euro Sport Touring

It had to be a Harley. Love my Road King. I wouldn't mind having a new Indian as well, but a little out of my price range.

NO! I have no regrets at all.. so far there are two harleys in the garage.. my road king and my wife's sporty.. before long, if all goes well, there will be an ultra as well. With that said.. I'd have no problem adding a metric or euro bike.. like say.. a KTM adventure, or a Honda XL 650, or maybe even a sport touring bike like an FJR or K1300GT.. but, if and or when those come along..they will be additions.. never replacements..

No, if I wanted another bike it would be an addition, not a subsititution.
