Default RE: anyone pull a trailer behind your bike?

ORIGINAL: Silverbeard

Mmm for some reason, the link to hitchdoc is not working. Eitherway, more ideas in the trailering department.

Questions one would like to have answered.
1. Do these trailers have elec brakes or hyd set-ups?
a. Are elec/hyd brakes even needed?
b. Should one upgrade rear/front brake set-ups?
2. Should one upgrade shock set-up to IE Progressive?
3. Should the hitch be those swivel style ones? (safety issue)
4. What about upgrading elec system, charging etc.
5. Do spelling errors count? Hey had to ask that one.....grin grin.[:-]
The trailer my dad pulled didn't have any brakes, and he used the stock brake setup on the bike. Spend the extra for a swivel hitch, may save your life.
