Glad you got to meet him. It just goes to show you live every day like it's your last and treat everyone like you want to be treated.
This world could use a big dose of that at the moment...........................

By looking at the pictures of that bike, I would say the rear tire is no bigger than a 150. No idea on the pulley.
If you're building the bike in the true spirit of Larry, you should just build it how you want. Don't try to copy his down to the smallest detail. I never had the chance to meet him, but I would think that's how he would encourage you to build it. Don't take my comments the wrong way, not being a smart a$$, just trying to give you another perspective. I would think Larry would appreciate seeing a bike someone built that was inspired by something he did, not copying something he built already. Again, I realize you're only talking about a tire size and pulley, so don't take this as bashing you.

I live like 30 minutes from the shop, but I dont get over that way too often in the Fall and Winter. If I do find myself heading that way, and I dont have a brain fart, and can remember to jot down the rear tire and pulley size, I will PM you with the info.

Thanks all, the reason for the tire size is I need a base line for the old frame I have. I want the old school look and like the way the 18' rear looks with the 21" front. It's hard to find a rim tire combo in that size unless you build it so need a start point. I believe it is a 3.5" x 18" rear rim but not sure. I want the low profile look but have to watch the width with a belt drive in this frame. All I have is the internet over here to work with. I will be heading for a visit to the shop hopefully next summer when I finsh here.
