My brother-in-law came over from the UK and had never been on a bike before. Seeing as how it was unlikely he'd ever be on one in England due to him being pretty set in his friends and such....which didn't include any bikers, I took him for a couple of rides. His wife didn't care for it. He also tried to snow skiing, and I took him to the pistol range.
It felt a bit odd having a guy on the back of the back...not something I'd do regularly, but would help another rider out if necessary, or do the same as I did for my brother-in-law if other relatives or friends from the UK visited.

Took my 21 year old son about 2 miles to work the other day to get his 4X4 truck.
He is a diesel mechanic and wants to learn to ride.
