Default More HP & Torque w/ Oil Filter ?? C'mon

http://www.hotrodsbikeworks.com/tech...ter/index.html

OK, I gotta post this one. I came accross this surfing the net. They claim more hp and torque via an oil filter. Theory is their oil filter has less "drag" in pumping oil and this more "efficient flowing" oilis converted to hp and torque.

Anybody have any knowledge of this product?? I'm pretty skeptical on this one......but they did a before and after dyno.

There are companies out there that supposedly have lab tested pills to make your manhood longer too. Doesn't make it so.

LOL

There's probably a way to use instrumentation to tell the difference on a before and after for something like this and then scale the size of the chart so it looks like a huge increase. But, I doubt it makes a noticeable difference.

my 2001 RK is quieter with an AC PF-53 filter compared to the Purolator furnished H-D filter. My 1994 Mustang GT had a 5 psi increase using an AC filter compared to Autolite filter. Might be the increased pressure decreases internal friction of the pistons and crankshaft.

Do any of you know squat about making horsepower?

Hmm let'see, Better less resticted flow, higher pressure, less friction, less heat = More Horsepower

How noticable it is for day to day driving, well that's another issue.

Been hashed and re-hashed. Bottom line, no free lunch!

Some racing engines run no or very low restriction oil filters. They ALSO CHANGE OIL AFTER EVERY RUN OR NEARLY SO.

Like all snake oil, it is a placebo. Works fine untill the cancer comes back.
