Harley Vibes: Good, Bad, or Ugly?

Harley Vibes: Good, Bad, or Ugly?
The latest issue of Cycle World has a story about the 35-year anniversary of the Dyna Super Glide. In the article the author asks a few of the MOCO's engineers about, "the quakes and tingles that escape the Twin Cam's rubber engine mounts." The response: "We like the way it feels; our customers like the way it feels. We could make it dead-smooth if we wanted to. We don't want to."
This comment made me wonder what the folks on HDForums might think. Personally, I like a few vibes at idle but I want the bike to be smooth under acceleration or when I'm up to speed.
You 88B folks can participate also. Did you get the motor because it was in the bike you wanted, or did you get the bike because of the motor?

RE: Harley Vibes: Good, Bad, or Ugly?
Good question: This is why the 88B was designed, so it seems that our HD teams knows what they are talking about.
I drove a Revo for 3 yrs , so I never knew the "vibe" until I got on that black RK. It had me at hello.

I think the vibes on my RK custom are perfect. And my girlfreind thinks they are GREAT from the back seat.
