Another Cam Question

RE: Another Cam Question
I was also going to install gear driven cams and was looking at Andrews T27's. According to everything Ive read I dont need to replace the stock pushrods unless Im going to more radical cams. So I dont know why you are having to replace your prods unless your mileage is such they are a weak link. This is a GREAT topic by the way!!

RE: Another Cam Question
i installed S&S 510 G's and am very happy with them...They are a little noisier than the stock cams, but no big deal. Added about 10 hp and 10 lbs of torque.....right at 80/80. Total cost was about $1100, parts and labor, including having it dyno tuned.

RE: Another Cam Question
510s are nice but from what i have been studing as of late with a stock setup i would go andrews 26 with gears unless you got a 95 build with head work then you should go tw37. also i would get adjustible pushrods. their labor way to much in my opionion try findinng a smaller shop they probally will do it for around 2 to 3 hundred also if you go on ebay youll find SE adj. pushrods and covers for about 119 dollars but 1500 is way to much you can do a nice 95 kit with head work for that much. hope this helps pm me if you got any questions.
