I agree 100% with MNPGRider....... I respect your effort here but the Harley haters don't want facts.

All you whiners need to get the f*ck off of a Harley forum if you don't like Harleys!! You are ruining what this forum used to be and you are driving people, myself included, into other forums that isn't full of a bunch of puzzys...............................Just sayin.

Speaking of gas mileage...my friend has a Yamaha Warrior that gets 20mpg he says. It's modified for "performance," but I really don't know what he did to it to get 20 miles per gallon average.

 

Wouldn't be hard to do. One pc map I used got me 22 mpg on my 08 super glide.

I agree with DenimStreet. Why come to a Harley forum and bitch about your Harley. I think I made a mistake coming to this forum. An inordinate amount of people here don't seem to think Harleys are that great. I do and I'm not mad at the moco. I come here to get info from people that know more about Harleys than I do but I spend most of my time defending my purchase. Now that I think about it, that's just dumb on my part. My bad.

 

Yes you are right. Not everyone is willing to bend over and moan for everything the MoCo does. That does'nt mean we don't like our machines. It just means we refuse to fall for everything HD's Marketing Dept. puts out. And if something causes you to "spend most of my time defending my purchase" then you have self-esteem and personal issues. Or you're just stupid.
