0-60 times for the M109 are 3.89, and for the Triumph Rocket III are 3.66.

the new Vrod 0-60 time is 3.59, but I don't know what the sea level is. I note on the Popular Mechanix test it's at 2800 feet.

I did say most of us go 5-20mph over speed limit anyhow... so 80-90mph isn't fast enough?

I can go 100mph... you think going 200mph on a street(that isnt built for it) is cool ... oh I know.... ur day dreaming of flying down the long stretch of highway at 200mph+

If you are inclined to go those speeds then why not do it professionally?

Also don't get confused with the different V Rod types. That Popular Mechanic article is showing times for the VRSCDXNight Rod with the 69ci engine. The stats MNPGRider posted were for the VRSCX with the 76ci engine.

 

I do not know if it is that slow....but I had mine on a dyno run and it hit 135 mph and still had throttle left... 05 FLHRCI 95" ,211cams, K&N air filter, SE II performance(race) mufflers...I still think i may getquicker yet.

As far as this comment goes, I personally don't want a bike that goes fast top speed wise, I want one that gets up to the legal speed fast. So if I were to buy a crotch rocket, it wouldn't be so that I could break the law, just accelerate up to 60mph or whatever in the blink of an eye. Not everyone who buys a sport bike is looking for top speed...

 

Yeah.. the crotch rocket guys HAD to give them HOTT chicks a ride to get some..

While the HD rider is on his way either BACK from screwing a HOTT chick or going to find another one to screw
