Default Maryland Motorcycle Title Help needed

I'm buying a bike for a seller tomorrow afternoon from a guy in Maryland. I'm from another state and need some help in knowing where the seller has to sign off on the title when I meet him to make the exhange. Can anyone give me some advise here??

on the back of the title, the top section is for transfer of title. there is a signature block there for the seller and buyer to sign, along with odometer reading, selling price, etc.

Like steveh326 said.

Additionally, since you are taking it out of state, you should be sure to have this title transfer notarized. Some states require it in order to issue a new title. It only costs a few bucks and it could save a lotta grief.

One other thing: Check the back of the title for liens that haven't been released.

You might want to make out a "Bill of Sale" for both you and the seller to also sign. BoS should include seller name, buyer name, bike VIN, selling price, and date. Selling price will also be used when you title/register the bike in your state.
Good luck, ride on, ride safe!

Thanks for all who commented. The exchange went off without a hitch. I was concerned in that on Monday the seller had a lien and needed cash to float until he could get the lien satisfied from the bank and get my payment. Was surprised that he had the title with the lien marked then a second MD "offical" document that had the bank tellers simple sign off and date that the lien was satified. I took the two documents to the notary tonight and they accepted all. I was expecting a hard time but in and out in 10 minutes...................I now have a FLTCU. Sleeps 6 with 1.5 baths. I love it.
