Quiet zone - Motorcycles restricted

RE: Quiet zone - Motorcycles restricted
Sorry if I'm jumpin'in, but last monthI were in LB on vacation and meanwhile my wife and kids were enjoining beaches and waves, I used to walk in town and I can say that I didnt' saw any signal against motorcycles. I payed attention to that becauseI was feeling envious (beeing Italian) looking a lot of bikes of every kind (HD most) riding on the main highway (coast HW) and throughLB streets most of them with loud pipes.
I could see several bikes parked along streets without any problem. No cops ticketing them.
The 9\11 day I saw a lot of bikes converge in LBcarring flags and a lot funny dressed people.
No one protested against them.
It was a beautiful afternoon.
They could be 300 or morebikers.
This to say that many laws (italian way of thinking) are made to punish people that are way over etic behaviour.
During my stay there I saw a biker riding a chopper who revved his engine pasing by a parked car so its alarm started and a person walking by was panicked.
That was the one idiot I saw there.
Lb and the sourronding area is a fantastic place where to live and ride.
cheers from Italy!!!

It's not just California, the wife and I planned a trip to Calloway Gardens in Pine Mountian, GA. Got the bike ready and were just about to head out and she suggested we check the web site for hours, fees, etc. "Motorcycles Prohibited" It's not a state or federal park so I guess they can refuse service to anyone.

Yea, in just sucks to live in California. I hate going for that surf session for an hour every day before work. Then I hate that ride on my bike to work because it only rains about six times a year. My kids really hate that there are five major amusement parks/zoos a short drive from our house. Take me out of this living hell.....
That's a nice thing to say to a fellow American Traumaking. You wish the state my family lives in is destroyed, Osama and you have a lot in common.
I Hate Commifornia with a passion
hopefully the next big one and the fault line will take care of that issue!

Most of these guys that "hate" Ca. have probably never even been there (here). And are making their judgements based on who knows what information. There are a lot of azzholes here, as everywhere, but most of the azzholes here came from somewhere else. So send us your azzholes.
