What's the difference in a bouncing motor on a Sportster and a bouncing motor on a Dyna. If you don't like bouncing motors, get a Softail.

Threads like this make me really miss my '01...after starting on Brit bikes and even owning a couple of Old Wings (2 77's) the solid mount sporty was the closest to a "real motorcyle" I had. Two up riding dictated a larger bike and the rubber sporties are only 30lbs lighter than my current ride without the displacement potential...so I now have an FXDXT with some $erious modifications. The sporty was 100hp and a real blast to ride; did 600km after lunch one day; was smooth enough for me but the Dyna is in a different class. May see my way to an 883R; the solid mount sporties are starting to get really cheap; would leave enough to put in an 88" motor...that would be awsome on the fun scale.
