I will be cruising around the Caribbean for Christmas and the New Year and noticed that you can hire a harleyon the island St Maarten.

We dock on Christmas Eve and I fancy taking a trip around the Island on a Harley rather than go with the rest of the sheep on tours etc.

I would appreciate anycomments or help from folk who have done this and where do you recommend we visit etc.

 

You have to go and watch the planes land. They fly over the beach about 100 feet off the ground. We have some swag from that dealer but did not rent and ride. Also if you like rum there are several markets that sell home made rum. Dont be scared by the way they produce it, it's great stuff. The cocoa rum is very good and comes in hand painted little bottles that are really cool too.

 

I have taken two cruises around those parts. I didn't rent a bike, as we were only there for a short while. I did buy the obligatory shirt, of course. I really like the coconut and pineapple rums. If you ever make pina colada's, they will make them awesome. People always ask me why mine are the bomb, I just smile, LOL.
