Riding up to Fayettville/Ft Bragg to meet son coming back from Iraq at the end of October, wondering what the riding conditions are like this time of year up there. Been in Miami so long that I forgot where the frost line is and when. Should I take the bike or the car, really want to take the bike, he hasn't seen it yet.

 

generally its good riding weather(60`s) 70s possible also during that time, but keep in mind its close to winter so it can blow in anytime..Watch the lying weather man and belive half of what he says...

Can be cool (temperature wise). Leather jacket and medium weight golves will probably be more than enough. NC has really weird weather. Last year it was 72 degress in January.

 

I'll be in Fayettville Friday night and Saturday morning, myself (family in Lillington). The weather this weekend is supposed to be 80s and cloudy ... but likely no rain in sight.

 

Octoberand Novemberare the best 2 months to ride in NC imo. Nights can be a littlecool but the days are usually in the 60's. Perfect for riding with a leather jacket and not sweat to death.
