A guy at work has one one his electraglide and loves it
He also said that when he stops for a while he will set it on the stand and sit comfortably straight up on the bike, like when he stops to talk with someone.

the guy at work has his where the rear tire is still on the ground
he said its easy to set it on the stand, if hes at a long light and doesnt want to hold the bike up, cause he has a bad knee, he just pushes back on the bike while pushing down on the stand and it isnt hard at all

Nah ! you just start yer bike going backwards and push down on the stand and keep pulling back on the bike and it picks itself up. Ain't that bad once you git used to it. They used to have center stands on bikes years ago.
