Note to all Colorado motorcyclists! Here is your chance to make a difference.
Anyone who is interested in making an impact on the way these offenders are sentenced needs to act NOW!
Please contact ABATE and support this Careless Driving bill!

Hi Melanie,
Your original e-mail was forwarded over to me by Mark Buckner of BIKEPAC. My name is Dave Christy, Legislative Affairs Specialist for ABATE of Colorado. I also offer my heartfelt condolences for your loss.
I would be pleased to speak with you by phone regarding the Martinez case, and the upcoming Careless Driving bill that will be introduced in the 2006 Colorado legislative session.
The bill is a reality and we need the voices of the victims and their families to testify before Colorado Senate and House committees. We would be pleased to work with you and your family to have enhanced mandatory penalties become a reality in Colorado. The Colorado legislature goes back into session next week, with the next 120 days of legislative work ahead. We either get this done by May, or wait another year...
Please send me your contact info
