Not really. I just want someone to actually read this post! Considering an aftermarket tank for my Sportster. I bought my bike used, at a good price, and under my budget. I feel that the surplus money I saved buying used gives me some "wiggle room" to make some changes. I want to go to a larger tank. My question is this, How do you seal an unpainted tank? Also, has anyone used a shop that sells painted tins and gives you a credit for your factory tins? It seems like a good idea.
